Referees Wanted! (Ready to Hire Immediately)
We have some talented, professional referees on staff at AC Paintball and we want to add a few more qualified faces to that team!
If you love paintball, enjoy learning more about that game, and want to help others enjoy it too (all while getting paid) this might be the part time position for you.
We run a professional facility with a good reputation and lots of growth momentum. Working with us comes with respect, fair pay, and fun experiences. That being said, we also expect our referees to conduct themselves professionally and treat this like a very real job (because it is, part time or not).
The following skills and requirements are either required or are a bonus for consideration:
You must have played paintball actively.
__If you’ve been a referee at a paintball field or worked in a paintball Pro shop that’s a home run.
__Special consideration will be given to retired, honorably discharged and active duty military personal.
__Special consideration will be given to retired or available police personnel.
__Must be 18 or older.
__Must be willing to learn to CLEAN, disassemble, repair and properly reassemble paintball guns especially Tippmann products.
__Need to be able or willing to learn to give coherent safety talks and explain basic safety rules in front of a group of people.
__Need to learn field pricing.
__Be able to sell paint and snacks to your paintball players group as needed.
__Need to have or be willing to get first aid/CPR certification.
__Must be able to pass criminal background check.
__Must be able to work with groups.
__Must have Saturday and or Sunday availability as that is when most paintball games are played.
__Must have references upon request.
__Must have reliable transportation.
Compensation:
$ 8 an hour + Tips + Personal free play . This is a great part time job, perfect as a second job or for college students. You can expect most of your work to be on Saturday and Sunday, weekdays are more prevalent during the summer months.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing some of the best days of people’s lives. You will referee kids birthday parties, bachelor parties and corporate team building as well as walk ons . People are always happy when they arrive and if we do a great job they are ecstatic when they leave.
As a referee you must administer all rules and decide what constitutes “fair play” in all games, competitions, and related activities. The referee really does make the difference between a good day and a bad day regarding the players for whom they are responsible.
