    You Have a Medium to Large Team

    If you have a large team, it makes sense to choose a large field. This way, your AC Paintball game isn’t overly cramped and doesn’t fly by too quickly. The Blue Thunder Woods Field is perfect for medium or large team games. The rows of military tents are separated by roughly 150 yards of space. This gives both teams plenty of space to move around while still being small enough to keep the game moving. 

    You Prefer Longer and Slower-Paced Games

    Some AC Paintball players like fast-paced games that are packed with action and usually over quickly. Other players prefer a game that isn’t quite as quick and lasts longer. If you belong to the latter group, you should consider playing on AC Paintball’s Blue Thunder Woods Field in southern New Jersey. Due to the fact that this is a large field, your game will move at a slower pace (for a paintball game) and last longer. If you have players on your team who have never played paintball before, this is a great field to start with.

Whether you want to re-enact a war or create your own military scenario, this field can make your game feel more realistic.     You Want to Play a Standard of Capture-the-Flag Game

    The Blue Thunder Woods Field is also a great location for a standard or capture-the-flag game. The layout of the field with a row of military tents on either side of a bunker section makes the perfect neutral playing field for each team.   • Reasons to Choose AC Paintball’s Black Ops Pentagon Woods Field

This includes the Hyperball Field, the Speedball Tournament Field, the Black Ops Pentagon Woods Field, the Blue Thunder Woods Field, the Red Dawn Woods Field, and the Ultimate Battle Zone Field. Each one makes for a unique game and has its own benefits. 

    One of our most popular paintball fields is the Black Ops Pentagon Woods Field. It features a pentagon of military tanks centered in a large wooded area. There are many reasons to choose this field. Read on to learn more. 

    You Have a Large Group

    One of the main aspects that will affect your field choice at AC Paintball in southern New Jersey is how many people you have in your group. If you have a larger group, then you will want a larger AC Paintball field to play on. This way everyone can spread out and the game won’t be too short. The Black Ops Pentagon Woods field can accommodate groups of up to 100 people. It is perfect for birthday parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties, corporate outings, or family reunions. 

    You Want to Play Woodsball

    When it comes to paintball, some AC Paintball players prefer speedball while others prefer Woodsball. Speedball fields tend to be small and offer artificial bunkers such as inflatable shapes, spools, barrels, and military tanks. 

    Woodsball, on the other hand, has more natural bunkers such as trees, bushes, and other foliage. The Black Ops Pentagon Woods Field is mostly natural, but also offers some artificial military tanks in the shape of a pentagon at the center of the field. Therefore, if you like having the best of both worlds, the Black Ops Pentagon Woods Field may be for you. 

    You Prefer a Slower-Paced Game

    Small fields make for a fast game while large fields make for a long game. In a small field, you have less space to roam. Therefore, you interact with your opponents more often. There are also few, if any, places to hide. Some games on a small field may last only a few minutes. 

    On the other hand, on larger fields like the Black Ops Pentagon Woods Field, you have many places to go. You have to find your opponents before you can shoot at them. This makes for a much longer AC Paintball game. Therefore, if you prefer longer, slightly less intense games, then a woodsball game on the Black Ops Pentagon Woods field is for you. 

    You Want to Play A Game An Attack/Defend or Capture-the-Flag Game

    When you come to AC Paintball, you likely have some idea of what type of game you want to play. There are many different types of paintball games from regular speedball to capture-the-flag to scenario games. 

    Some AC Paintball fields are better suited for some games than others. For instance, if you want to play Speedball, then our Speedball Tournament Field is your best option. However, if you want to play an attack/defend game or a capture-the-flag game, then the Black Ops Pentagon Field is a better choice. It is especially good for games like defend-the-castle, VIP, or center-flag-push. The pentagon in the middle of the field makes for a great central base.
