What Kind of Paintball Player Do You Want to Be?

What do you want to be known for when on the AC Paintball field? Everyone has a different personality. Some people are outgoing while others are shy. Some people strategic and love to plan things while others just like to go with the flow.

We all have different strengths, weaknesses and character traits, that make use unique. These factors can help determine our role when in a group of people. Then we can figure out how we can contribute to our group to make it stronger. Below are some characteristics you can strive for to make your AC Paintball team stronger.

Experienced Leader

A good leader has experience, knows how to get their team pumped up, and is good at making decisions under pressure. In many cases, you can’t just proclaim that you’re the leader. However, if you show the rest of your team you possess leadership qualities, they will likely begin to listen to you and follow your direction. Leaders typically make good frontrunners and usually take on large roles during an AC Paintball game.

Strategic Planner

Planners are organized, are observant, and have good foresight. They are good at analyzing what they have to work with and formulating a plan that can work in their favor. The leader may consult them if they need help making decisions.

If you are a planner, it is a good idea to be in a position where you can observe the entire AC Paintball field well. Typically, this is toward the back of the field. Planners are good for taking on the role of formulating plans and communicating with the rest of your team.

Supportive and Inspiring

A team that knows how to work together is stronger. This is where a supportive player comes in. They are elemental in keeping their team’s spirits up so they can play their best. There may be days where either one player or the whole team just doesn’t seem to be doing well. If they can’t find the motivation to keep pushing forward, your team will struggle to win the AC Paintball game.

A supportive player knows the game is not over until the last player is eliminated. They will inspire their teammates to never give up and make them feel like they are not alone. A good position for a supportive player is in the infantry where they can have their teammates backs if someone gets ambushed or is under fire.

Outgoing and Funny

Funny players can be the ones who make your day at AC Paintball in southern New Jersey memorable. They are full of quips and may do some friendly smack talk or banter with the other team. You may even find them wearing a bright or unique outfit. Like the supportive player, they help lift their team’s spirits. Funny players are typically very outgoing and therefore can help fulfill the role of communicating with the rest of the team.

Quiet and Mysterious

Quiet and mysterious players can be dangerous people to play paintball against. It is difficult to analyze them and judge what they are going to do. They are unpredictable and you likely won’t see them coming. They can come out of nowhere and eliminate you in a matter of seconds. They are a great asset to have on your team. They do well in the role of sniper, especially if they have good aim. They can be in charge of taking out dangerous players on the opposing team.

Making Your Mark

Deciding what type of paintball player you want to be isn’t something people always think about. However, thinking about it can help you control the mark you make on the paintball field. No matter what type of player you end up being, being friendly and sportsmanlike should always be among your goals.
