    Quality Rental Equipment

    AC Paintball also offers quality rental equipment. We inspect and clean our equipment before every outing. This helps us ensure that each piece meets our regulations and will work properly for you. We offer two marker models for rent, Tippmann Custom 98 and the Valken V-Tac SW-1 as well as other modern protective equipment. If you ever notice an issue with any of our equipment, alert a member of our staff and we will help you take care of it.

    Different Fields to Choose From

    Not every paintball game is the same, so why use the same field for every game? If speedball is your thing, play on our Speedball Tournament Field that meets tournament standards. If you want more room to spread out try one of our three wooded fields, the Black Ops Pentagon Woods Field, the Blue Thunder Woods field, or the Red Dawn Field. For speed lovers, we suggest the Hyperball field. At AC Paintball you can choose from a variety of games and a variety of fields.

    Military and Member Discounts

    Did you know that the military often uses paintball to train their personnel? AC Paintball provides discounts to military members. Active police officers, emergency first responders, active military personnel, and reserve military personnel can receive 50% of field admission by presenting the proper ID. AC Paintball Club members can save 10% on field admission purchases and receive a discount on cases of paintballs.

    Location

    If you are planning on exploring New Jersey, you will want to choose a paintball location that is near other sites and attractions. AC Paintball is located on near the intersection of Jackson Road and 12th Street in Williamstown, New Jersey. Atlantic City is about a half hour’s drive from our location.     If you have someone in your family or group that isn’t interested in paintball, they can hang out and watch out emus. Before Attorney Bill Hayes opened AC Paintball he developed an Emu farm on site. With extra land, Bill decided to add paintball courses to the site. Don’t worry, though, we keep our emus away from the paintball fields in a special area.

  • Tips for Planning an AC Paintball Party

    writing-1209700_960_720Planning a party at home can be a hassle. You have to do all of the organizing yourself and end up with a mess to clean up. Why not move your party to AC Paintball in Williamstown, New Jersey? Whether you are celebrating a birthday, wedding, or graduation, AC Paintball is a thrilling venue to host a party. We offer five different fields so that you can customize your party. Our friendly staff will help you plan your party so that you can make your day special.

    Planning

    The first step in throwing a party is planning. While AC Paintball will help you in a variety of ways, there are some aspects you will need to take care of on your own. For instance, you will need to choose and invite the guests, set a budget, and pick a package. Keep in mind that AC Paintball’s group packages require 11 players.

    Morning sessions start at $399 and afternoon packages start at $499. Past 11 players each additional player is $39.95 for a morning session and $49.95 for an evening session. This includes field passes, complete rental gear package, free air, and 200 paintballs. If you supply 11 players we will allow the main celebrant or organizer to play for free. Don’t forget to have all your guests sign a safety waiver.

    Decorations

    If you want to make your party a bit more personal, why not add some extra decorations? You can make a sign or banner to congratulate the honoree. This will also be a great backdrop for taking group photos. Colorful balloons are a classic decoration that resembles paintballs. Centerpieces, table cloths, or streamers can also liven up the area.

    Be sure any other decorations you add are bright and colorful. You can also add some camouflage. If your celebrant in a big fan of something specific, you can work it into your decorations as well. If you have any questions, contact the AC Paintball staff for help.

    Games and Activities

    The main reason you are choosing AC Paintball is to play paintball. Yet, there are a variety of games to choose from. Be sure to plan some games ahead of time so you don’t waste your time deciding what game to play. VIP/President is a fun game to play when you have a special player. In this game, one team tries to eliminate the VIP while the other team protects them. Capture the flag is another favorite that almost everyone already knows how to play.

You can make it a game where whichever team collects more tokens wins. You can also just make them bonus gifts for your guests to take home.

    Snacks

    You can’t play paintball on an empty stomach. Be sure to prepare snacks for yourself and your guests. Make sure you have some fruits, veggies, granola bars, and other healthy snacks. Everyone will need plenty of energy and fuel

    Since it’s a celebration, you will also want to have some fun snacks. Gumballs make great cupcake toppers that look like paintballs. You can make cookies that look like targets or put plastic army men in the center of a donut that looks like a bunker.

    Favors

    Finally, you may want to leave your guests with something to take home as a memento. A water bottle is a good idea as some of your guests may forget to bring one to keep hydrated.   • Paintball Tips for Girls

    female paintball playerWe welcome players of all kinds here at AC Paintball. I (a girl) am particularly excited when other girls become interested in the sport. It’s an intense, challenging, and fun game (not to mention a great workout). I love it when girls show up and prove that we can play just as rough as the guys. However, I won’t deny that there are some key differences between the genders. Most newbie girls ask different questions than newbie guys before their first game. This blog post will look at the most popular topics girls are thinking about before playing paintball for the first time. If you’re a guy looking to attract your female friends to the sport, this is also a great read for you.

    What Girls Wear to Play Paintball

    A quick checklist:

    • Sweatpants with leggings underneath
    • Layers (tank top, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt)
    • Padded bra or chest protector
    • High ponytail or low braids
    • Dark colors for camouflage
    • Clothes that can get dirty
    • Comfortable athletic shoes
    • Flexible and padded gloves

    Choose loose clothing. Personally, I love playing sports in yoga pants, but these just don’t work for paintball. The material is too thin and tight to offer any protection. Sweatpants are the ideal solution, allowing for flexible movement and providing some padding. You can wear leggings or gym shorts underneath for added protection. Find a pair of sweatpants that fit properly so you don’t have to worry about tripping or losing your pants while running. If it’s really hot I will wear basketball shorts with knee and skin protectors. However, this is not recommended until you’ve played a few times and know how it feels to take a shot.

    Pile on the layers. Wear layers that you can take off as you get hot. A good combination is a thick tank top, thin long sleeve shirt, and thick pullover sweatshirt.

    Protect your chest. Wear plenty of layers and a thick sweatshirt and you should be fine. Find a specially designed paintball chest protector for the summer months. Alternatively, if you want a more convenient (and comfortable) option just wear a super padded bra.

    Clothes will get dirty. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or even ruined. Make a quick run to Walmart or borrow some old clothes if you don’t have any. Paint, dirt, mud, and sweat will probably cover them by the end of the day. Most of it can be washed out, but don’t count on them ever being sparkling clean again.

    Color matters too. Wear dark colors like black, navy, or forest green. These will resist staining better and also offer camouflage for you to blend into the environment.

    Pull your hair back. Pull your hair back to keep it out of your face while playing. A very high ponytail or super low braid will work best with most masks. Wear a bandana if you are worried about getting paint in your hair. Paint can be oily, but just use a clarifying shampoo and your hair will be back to normal.

    Choose comfortable shoes. Wear any type of athletic shoe you prefer, as long as you can run in them and don’t mind if they get dirty. This includes hiking boots, sneakers, running shoes, skate shoes, ect. Bonus if they are thicker or have a protection at the toe.

    Remember your hands. Nothing hurts more than a shot to the hand without padding. Find a pair of thick, well-fitting gloves that offers protection while still allowing for free movement to operate your equipment. Bonus: crawling and hiding on the ground will be much easier. These don’t necessarily need to be gloves made for paintball. For your first time, any pair you have around the house that meets the qualifications should work just fine.

    Other Paintball Tips for Girls

    birthday paintball NJBring your friends. Some girls prefer to play paintball with other girls the first few times to get the hang of things. This is totally fine. Call up your field and ask if they offer hours just for girls, or else gather up a few of your female friends for a game. When you do play with guys, you don’t have to worry that they’ll be too rough for you. In fact, you might have the opposite problem. Many guys aren’t used to playing with girls and may take it a little too easy on you. Just make sure you shoot them out first chance you get and they’ll realize what a tough competitor you are. Problem solved.

    Communicate with your team. I find that girls are great at analyzing the environment and developing winning strategies. Let your teammates know if have any ideas or notice where the other players are and what they may be planning.

    Don’t be scared to get shot. Getting hit for the first time will be a shock and might hurt, but not much more than a rubber band snap, especially if you take preventive measures. Adrenaline from the game often acts as a natural pain reliever as well. Yell “I’ve been hit!” or “I’m out!” as loud as you can or risk getting shot repeatedly by players that didn’t see you get out. Raise your arms and gun in the air and walk to the safe zone immediately.
