Paintball Game Checklist
After you’ve booked a long awaited paintball game and the day finally arrives, the rush to get onto the field is real. But don’t run so fast that you forget your goggles, socks, or breakfast. It can be difficult to keep track of everything you need when you’ve got a full day of action and excitement waiting.
We’ve compiled a checklist of important items and tasks to remember before and after a paintball game for the occasional (or brand new) player. Hopefully the following lists will make your lives a little easier and the game more enjoyable.
If you played paintball before and have your own equipment…
You are welcome to bring your own equipment to AC Paintball. All markers are subject to a chronometer test and must shoot at a velocity no higher than 280 feet per second. Fully automatic markers are not permitted. Field paint must be purchased on site. Check out some of the tasks and items to remember before your next game below:
Test Equipment
You may want to test your equipment if it’s been several months since you last played. Plan ahead and check out your gear about two weeks before the game just in case anything needs repairing or replacing.
- Look at the hydro date on your tank to make sure it’s still valid. Most tanks need to be tested for safety every three to five years, but will work manageably for up to fifteen years.
- If the tank is in working order, gas up your marker and make sure it works. Replace batteries of your marker if necessary.
- Test out the hopper and replace batteries if necessary.
Prepare Clothing and Safety Gear
The day before the game, locate appropriate clothing, safety gear, and other miscellaneous items.
- Gather your gloves, foam, knee pads, jersey, or any other clothing item you usually wear during a game
- Make sure everything is in good shape and wash items if necessary
- Check your goggles for lens cracks then clean and polish
- Find your cooler and clean it out if needed for water and snacks
- Gather and recheck equipment, replacing batteries if needed
